Come and do art with Children at the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital! Alongside their resident artist, Gabriella Mason, we will be painting, coloring, making jewelry with, and doing simple crafts with kids to inspire art and creativity. The families may come with the kids or they may be assisted by a nurse- but will be excited to create wonderful pieces of art alongside SCAD art students!
This event we are creating friendship bracelets and playing taylor swift music inspired by valentines day, so please come along and join us for some fun if you can!
There will be a bus that picks everyone up from SCAD's Main Building 1600 Peachtree Bus stop at 1:00pm and we will leave from the hospital at 3:15pm to be back by 3:30!
THINGS TO NOTE/ BRING!
- Along with your SCAD ID, Please bring a VALID drivers license/ passport ID/ as there will be a security check when we first enter and this will be required!
-Gabriella wanted me to mention that there are lots of different allergies/ dietary things that the kids are on, so please stay away from talking about food and what they are in the hospital for!
- Masks are not required- the nurses don't use them, but if you are more comfortable wearing one, please bring your own!
