On Saturday, October 22, from 1-3 p.m., help pack meals for neighbors in need with SCAD SERVE and America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. Volunteers will pack the meal kits to be distributed to community members throughout the coastal empire.
Volunteers will meet at The Hive bus stop at 12:15 p.m. SHARP and be transported by SCAD Transportation to America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. The project will take place from 1-3 p.m. The task will allow everyone to maintain social distancing and wear masks if required. Volunteers are encouraged to wear clothes they can bend, move, and lift in. Closed-toe shoes are required, wearing your SCAD SERVE t-shirt or other SCAD shirt will help create a unified appearance. The bus will return everyone to The Hive bus stop by 3:35 p.m.
All volunteers must be in good health and not experience any symptoms of illness. If you are unwell, do not come to the event! Instead, seek medical attention and contact the SCAD SERVE Fellow, Ramanujan Rajiv at rrajiv20@student.scad.edu or at 912.220.3906
