Clothing Closet for Neighbors in Need with Emmaus House and St. Josephs (SAVANNAH)

This is SHIFT 2, 11 am to 1 pm

On Friday May 21 from 11am to 1 pm, we invite SCAD Faculty, Staff, and students to join SCAD SERVE at Emmaus House exterior courtyard to help facilitate a Clothing Closet shopping event for neighbors in need of clean clothing. 

Volunteers will meet at 18 Abercorn St., Savannah GA. We will be assisting in the courtyard where individuals will be able to shop and select articles of free clothing that fit and help them feel confident and then return clothing inventory to the building at the end of the event.  Volunteers on the second shift will help with facilitating the event from 11 am to 12 pm, and event breakdown from 12 pm to 1 pm. Your time and efforts will help invigorate the community.  

We ask that all volunteers wear masks for the entirety of their visit with us and adhere to social distancing. All volunteers must be in good health prior to and during the event.
