Piedmont Park Clean-up (ATLANTA)

Join us as we clean and care for Piedmont Park with Piedmont Park Conservancy in Atlanta, Georgia. 

On Friday, April 9 from 9am to 12pm, volunteers will work beautify Piedmont Park by helping to spread mulch, remove invasive plants, and collect litter and debris from the park. 

All volunteers must wear appropriate clothing to participate. This includes closed toe shoes, t-shirts and pants that allow for bending, moving, lifting, and a strong potential for getting dirty. If you have a SCAD shirt, this helps our group keep a unified look. All volunteers must wear a mask for the duration of the event to participate. Any volunteer that arrives on site without appropriate attire will be asked to leave. Your well-being and safety is important to us. 

Transportation to the event and back to SCAD will be available. Volunteers will meet at the Breezeway at 1600 Peachtree St NW at 8:30 am to ride the bus to the site. The bus will return volunteers to SCAD Atlanta around 12:30 pm. 

Volunteers may bring a reusable water bottle to refresh themselves and utilize away from the group. 

All volunteers must register in advance of the event and be in good health, wear PPE, and adhere to all safety protocols.
