Honor the memory of World War II veterans and help create paper poppy flowers to decorate the Wall of Valor at the National Mighty Eighth Airforce Museum. Your poppy flowers will be added to an art installation of 26,000 hand-made flowers to represent each veteran who died defending America's freedom.
On Friday, March 5, at Victory Village dining area and Sand Courtyard from 1-3 p.m., volunteers can stop by the Take A Break event to help create poppy flowers. Each volunteer must be in good health, have passed their daily health screening, and wear a mask for the entirety of the event. Supplies will be provided on site and disinfected after each use.
