Your commitment to volunteer service is a powerful step in the fight against hunger. We’re so excited to have you join us at the Hunger Action Center!
The Hunger Action Center offers a hands-on experience in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Volunteers—both individuals and groups—work together to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia.
With 1 in 9 Georgians at risk of hunger, the need for emergency food assistance continues to grow. If every volunteer brought just two cans of food, we could provide an estimated 2,750 additional meals each month!
Please consider bringing nonperishable food items with you. You’re already making a tremendous impact by volunteering—adding a couple of cans multiplies that impact even further. High-need items include:
•Natural peanut butter
•Canned chicken
•Canned fruits and vegetables
Please use the dedicated link below to register before your shift. This ensures you receive all necessary details and complete the required volunteer release form.
