Join SCAD SERVE and America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia's Kid's Cafe for Art with the Kids at Savannah Classical Academy. We will be teaching the kids the artistic and scientific process of cyanotype photography using different types of flora. We will have pre-treated photographic paper, but will explain how the process works.
What is the Kids Café? Kids Café is an after-school program for children who are at risk for hunger. It started in 1989 when two young boys were found in a community center looking for something to eat. The program ensures that children have a safe, nurturing place to go during the critical hours after school when parents are often working. In addition to receiving a meal, children participate in tutoring and enrichment programs. All volunteers must fill out the attached waiver to participate.
