Join us in promoting a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in Legacy Park! Your efforts will not only improve the habitat for people who enjoy the park’s recreational areas but also for the wildlife that calls it home. Planting tasks include digging holes with shovels/mattocks, untangling roots with your hands, mulching, watering, and cleaning up your area. Those activities involves bending, pulling, lifting, and kneeling, so it’s a great way to get some exercise. Forest restoration can be physically demanding, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. What to wear and bring with you
