Who We Are
SCAD Back40 is a biodiverse urban farm and apiary tended by student workers and volunteers who use sustainable, organic gardening and beekeeping practices to nourish their communities. Fresh produce, garden education, and delicious honey products from SCAD Back40 are donated to community members in need.
What We Do
SCAD Back40 is part of SCAD SERVE, SCAD SERVE empowers the SCAD community to listen to the needs of its neighbors and local leaders and to create meaningful design solutions that improve the quality of life.
