Join us to make some art with kids at the Children’s Hospital! This project is a bi-monthly event working with the Artist in resident, Gabby Mason, over at the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital here in Atlanta. Projects happen rain or shine, so please check the weather beforehand and come prepared. We will cancel projects if inclement weather such as lightning occurs and is forecasted to persist for the duration of the project. Because weather is sometimes unpredictable, the decision to cancel is typically made day of. We will contact you via email if we choose to cancel in advance, so be sure to check your SCAD email.
What to wear and bring with you:
- Recommended clothing: Wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting painted on, although it’s not messy at all.
- Be sure to bring a valid government issued ID (Passport or Drivers license) to get through the security check!
Transportation
A SCAD Bus will be ready at 2:00PM at the SCAD Breezeway Shuttle Pickup. Please arrive on time, bus will leave promptly at 2:15PM. We will ride the bus back to campus no later than 4:45, so you will not miss your 5 pm class. If you decide to travel by other transportation other than the SCAD Bus, please notify SCAD SERVE Fellow Melissa Richardson by email at mricha40@student.scad.edu.
