Help us keep Atlanta's favorite urban green space clean and green. With over 6 million visitors annually, we need your help to keep Piedmont Park beautiful.
Role
As a volunteer, you will receive a pair of latex-free gloves, trash bags, and a trash grabber to pick up litter throughout the park.
Purpose
A lot goes into maintaining over 200 acres, and we need your help to pick up litter that is left behind.
Vibe

Transportation
A shuttle will arrive at 1600 at 8am to transport over to Piedmont Park
A shuttle will return to 1600 at 10:30am.
Parking: You must enter the parking garage via Monroe Drive, or you will be redirected to that entrance. To best navigate to our office, we recommend using Google Maps and the address 1314 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30306. Continue forward through the gate, and you will enter the parking garage. When parking, ensure you park on the bottom levels of the garage. If you park in the parking garage, be aware that Piedmont Park Conservancy does not own the garage.
So, we do NOT validate parking or change the rates. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will meet in front of The Conservancy's Administrative Building. Our office is off the lowest parking garage (shared by Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Garden). Enter the Park via the large entrance framed by 2 benches on the garage's lowest level. Walk forward into a circular stone courtyard. Look to your right, and you'll see 2 gray buildings with a courtyard between them. Enter the courtyard between the 2 gray buildings via the black iron gate. Our office is the building on your right. Take the stairs or ramp to our building. The main entrance is framed by an awning.
Supplies Needed: Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Since our projects occur outside, we want to ensure that volunteers are prepared to participate. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle for the experience. We are excited to have you join us to help keep Piedmont Park great!
