Description
This volunteer event is a chance to get out, give back, and have a blast in Piedmont Park! We will be working with a Piedmont Park staff member to landscape, plant flowers, help them with a larger landscaping project. This is a chance to play in the dirt- literally! Learn how to garden, how to take care of a yard- all very important skills for our everyday lives while in and out of school!
Purpose
By volunteering, you are helping keep Piedmont Park a great place for all of our visitors to enjoy.
Role
Your role will vary based on the project, which is determined by the needs of the Park. We encourage all volunteers to be ready to be outside and for some type of landscaping/conservation/beautification project.
Vibe
Feel good, get involved, clean up the park.
We are also working with Piedmont Park's team, so we ask that you register through this link as well:
TRANSPORTATION: There will be a bus to and from Piedmont Park from the MAIN SCAD BUILDING (1600 Peachtree) Please be there by 1:30pm or else let us know if you're going to meet us there! We should close around 4pm with the bus taking us back to arrive no later than 4:30pm.
