Help us keep Atlanta's favorite urban green space clean and green. With over 6 million visitors annually, we need your help to keep Piedmont Park beautiful. Come out for a beautiful morning of cleaning up the park! We will be picking up trash around the park, but fear not! You will be given gloves, trash grabbers, and bags so all you need to bring is yourself! Trash to some is treasure to others- it's all about perspective. Take this as a way of gathering inspiration away from your screens- in looking for litter you are looking at the forms of nature present in our Atlanta area. Fungi, cell structure, tree bark, wildflowers, the way a drop of water sits on a leaf- these are natural forms that appear in many biomimicry/ sustainability practices. Come get inspired through service! Thank you!
Role
As a volunteer, you will receive a pair of latex-free gloves, trash bags, and a trash grabber to pick up litter throughout the park.
Purpose
A lot goes into maintaining over 200 acres, and we need your help to pick up litter that is left behind.
Vibe
Feel good, get involved, clean up the park.
