Make your mark on the world's largest transit mural with SCAD Alumni Artist Kevin Bongang, Soccer in the Streets, and MARTA.
Join a team of volunteers to transform the Kensington MARTA station with paint and color to create a vibrant soccer pitch. Saturday, June 18th, volunteers will help paint the planter boxes surrounding the mural area.
Volunteers should arrive at 3350 Kensington Rd, Decatur, GA 30032, at 10 am on June 18th. Transportation is the responsibility of the volunteer.
Mukundi Kamwendo, SCAD SERVE Fellow, will be the site contact for this event.
Snacks, water, and toilets are available on site. Volunteers should wear a SCAD t-shirt to be identifiable and closed toe shoes for your safety.
