Orientation Assistants Help End Hunger, 9.3.2021 (SAVANNAH)

This activation is for current Orientation Assistants at the Savannah location. 

In coastal Georgia, one in five children struggle with hunger.

On Friday, Sept. 3, from 9 - 11 am and 1-3 pm, help pack meals for neighbors in need with SCAD SERVE and America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. Volunteers will be packing the meal kits to be distributed to community members throughout the coastal empire. 

Volunteers will meet at The Hive bus stop at 8:30 am and be transported by SCAD Transportation to America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. The project will take place from 9-11 am and the second shift from 1-3 pm. The task will allow everyone to maintain social distance and wear masks the entire time. It is encouraged that volunteers wear clothes they can bend, move, and lift in. Closed toe shoes are required, wearing your  SCAD shirt will help create a unified appearance. The bus will return everyone to The Hive bus stop within half an hour of ending the shift.   

The health and safety of our community is a top priority. Please do not register to participate if you have been exposed to Covid-19 or are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
