School is back in session, and with your help, we can prepare young scholars in our community with the supplies they need for a successful new year.
On Thursday, August 5 from 10 am to noon, join SCAD SERVE at the Student Center to help pack 200 bookbags with school supplies for two local organizations, LB4& After Foundation and Blessings in a Bookbag. Each organization will receive 100 bookbags of supplies to help support children headed back to the classroom. Supplies have been kindly donated by the SCAD community.
Volunteers will need to wear their mask for the duration of the event and be in good health prior to and during the activity. If you have already received a SCAD SERVE t-shirt, please wear it. If you have not received one previously, one will be provided for you on site. There will be an opportunity for photos, so bring your smile and SCAD spirit with you!
