Clothing Closet for Neighbors in Need with Emmaus House and St. Josephs (SAVANNAH)

This is SHIFT 1, 9 am-11 am

On Friday May 21 from 9am to 11 am, we invite SCAD Faculty, Staff, and students to join SCAD SERVE at Emmaus House exterior courtyard to help facilitate a Clothing Closet shopping event for neighbors in need of clean clothing. 

Volunteers will meet at 18 Abercorn St., Savannah GA. We will be working to bring clothing from the Clothing Closet inventory downstairs to the courtyard where individuals will be able to shop and select articles of free clothing that fit and help them feel confident. Volunteers on this first shift will help with set up from 9am-10am, and event facilitation from 10am-11 am. Your time and efforts will help invigorate the community.  

We ask that all volunteers wear masks for the entirety of their visit with us and adhere to social distancing. All volunteers must be in good health prior to and during the event.
