This event takes place at the SCAD Atlanta location.
Join SERVE and Food 4 Lives on Saturday, February 13 from 1-4 pm to help pack fresh meals for the homeless in Atlanta. Food 4 Lives is a local nonprofit organization in Atlanta that exists to support the homeless by providing food, education, and living necessities.
Volunteers will meet at the main breezeway at 1600 Peachtree at 1:00 pm to utilize SCAD transportation to visit the Food 4 Lives center. Please dress in a way that will allow you to safely work with food. This includes shirts with sleeves, long pants, closed toe shoes, and hair pulled neatly out of your face. Volunteers will follow instructions from Food 4 Lives that will allow our group to pack fresh meals to be distributed later in the day. The bus will depart promptly from SCAD at 1:15 pm.
Space for this event is limited. Please register only if you are certain you can participate. All volunteers must be in good health, must pass their daily health check, and wear a mask for the duration of the event. Your safety and the safety of our community members is a top priority. If you find yourself unable to participate, please unregister from the event to allow others to take your place.
The event will conclude at approximately 3:30 pm and SCAD transportation will return the volunteers to the breezeway by 4 pm.
