The Savannah Book Festival (SBF) is scheduled for February 6–9, 2025, and they are seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our Author Signing Tent on Festival Saturday, February 8.
Location: The Author Signing Tent is located at Telfair Square, 121 Barnard Street
Time: 4:30 pm-7:00 pm
Volunteer Role Details:
As a volunteer, you’ll work closely with authors, assisting in the book-signing process. Your responsibilities will include:
-Greeting guests and determining to whom the book should be personalized
-Writing the name on a post-it note
-Placing the post-it note on the “half-title” page of the book
-Handing the book to the author for signing
Attire: Please wear a SCAD SERVE t-shirt and black pants, this helps our group keep a unified look. Email Assistant Director, Maggie Sorel to pick up a SCAD SERVE shirt at Bradley Hall.
