Help sort food donations in the pantry warehouse and build emergency food boxes.
Attire: Volunteers are welcome to wear ball caps or we provide hair nets. Please wear the SCAD SERVE T-shirt that has been provided to you with black pants. NO open toe shoes (i.e.: flop flops, sandals or clogs) allowed at any time. Please dress appropriately to work in a warehouse. Please wear hair back away from face.
Physical activity level: While some of our volunteer activities require volunteers to be able to lift, we have plenty that do not. We welcome volunteers with all abilities and if you need to request an ADA related reasonable accommodation for your volunteer shift or would like to learn more about the activity levels for specific opportunities, please contact Cassandra Dingle at America's Second Harvest by email: cdingle@helpendhunger.org@helpendhunger.org for more details.
Transportation: SCAD buses will pick up at 8:30 am and drop off after the event at the Hive. Feel free to drive yourself in your own vehicle.
