Join the city-wide initiative Love Your Park and show some love to your local Greenspaces. The impact will change an unsightly area of unwanted growth to a more aesthetic and healthier environment. Volunteers are critical to continue to improve key areas of the park. Volunteers will be working on Invasive species removal and cleanup in the area between the parking lot. Get ready to have fun and get sweaty!

Attire: Advised clothing: Long pants and long sleeves are advised as you will be in close contact with plants that could scratch your skin and soil/mud. All volunteers need closed-toed shoes or boots, clothes that can get dirty.

Drinking water: We strongly recommend you bring drinking water in reusable containers. No one-time-use plastic bottles, please.

Allergy medication: If you've experienced life-threatening allergic reactions to insects, please come prepared with your own emergency medicine, such as an auto-injector or oral medication. Please notify the coordinator of your need for medication in the case of an allergic attack.

You may also want: Sunscreen and bug spray as needed, snacks as needed (Trees Atlanta will not provide any of these items).

SCAD provides transportation for this event. The Bus will arrive in front of Forty at 9:20 am. The ride is of approximately 25 minutes, the bus will be leaving at  9:35 am.  If you are running late, please email the site supervisor: jgrant27@student.scad.edu.
