Join us for a fun and flavorful Quick Pickling Workshop, where you’ll learn how to transform fresh vegetables into delicious, homemade pickled vegetables in no time! This hands-on experience is perfect for beginners and food lovers alike—no prior experience needed.
Bon Appetit Sustainability Fellow Isabel Stanton will guide you through the basics of quick pickling, from creating a simple brine to experimenting with herbs, spices, and flavor combinations. Then, you’ll build your own custom jar using a variety of fresh veggies and seasonings to suit your taste.
This event is also an opportunity to learn about shelf life of food and how that connects to sustainability, helping you gain practical tips for reducing food waste at home.
All supplies are provided, and you’ll leave with your very own jar of quick pickled veggies to enjoy at home. Come ready to get creative, learn a new skill, and have some fun!
