Needs From: SCAD SERVE

Description:  Show off your artistic ability at the Savannah Book Festival on February 7th with SCAD SERVE!

Volunteers will boost community engagement by painting and sketching LIVE at the event for visitors to observe. Volunteers must be confident in their ability to draw/paint from life and comfortable being watched.

Materials and easels will be provided according to volunteer preference. Easel users will be set up in pairs and sketchbook users may walk around or remain stationary. Volunteers may be distributed between Telfair square and Wright square. 

SERVE fellow Casey (jeruss20@student.scad.edu) will lead the event and will reach out ahead of time to coordinate materials and location.

Volunteers will wear black SCAD SERVE T-shirts with a suggested black blazer. E-mail Casey (jeruss20@student.scad.edu) with your T-shirt size and it will be brought to the event. 

This event will fall on the Saturday after midterms. If you need to cancel, please do so 48 hours in advance to allow other volunteers to register. 

Join SCAD SERVE for Art with the Kids at the Moses Jackson Center. For this event For this event we will be leading a cyanotype workshop using natural found materials outside! All volunteers must fill out the attached waiver to participate. This event in indoors with seating, bathrooms, and drinking fountains available.
