United Way HandsOn Savannah (UW-HOS) provides individuals, families, companies, and community groups with flexible volunteer opportunities at more than 150 service organizations and schools in our four county area. United Way HandsOn volunteers are at work every day of the year creating a sense of community and meeting critical needs in schools, parks, senior homes, food banks, pet shelters, low-income neighborhoods, and man more. United Way HandsOn Savannah is a direct service of the United Way of the Coastal Empire, Inc. and an affiliate the HandsOn Network in partnership with the Points of Light Institute.

United Way Hands On Savannah strives to reach this mission by connecting individuals, families, corporate, and community groups to results-driven service opportunities; mobilizing community volunteers around National and International days of service and recognition; and promoting professionalism in Volunteer Administration by providing free training, consultation, and development opportunities for nonprofit professionals responsible for managing volunteers.
